Foot was still noticable today but it was the best it has been since I first injured it.  Decided to run some freeway overpasses with Meg today and it went well.   We ran 4 round trips which equates to about 3 miles of up and downhill running and then the rest of the run was on the flats.  Decided to through in an extra mile because we had time and because I was feeling good. I could still feel the spot where I stepped on that dang rock yesterday but it wasn't bad.  Hopefully it's just a little bruised and I will be able to take care of it with some ice today.  Hopefully the good times keep rolling for a few more weeks.

Sounds like you had a great run then at a great pace. Looks like Meg is running like a champ too. Is she staying good and strong too?? I dont know if you guys meantioned it or not. But is she running SG too??

Meg is running SGM for sure. She is running pretty strong right now but once in a while has a bit of a knee issue that she has to deal with. This Saturday will be her third 20 miler so she is way ahead of me. If I'm not careful she will smoke me at SGM. She is shooting for a 3:30 which would be a 4 minute PR for her.

That is great news. I am glad she is doing so well. And your pace is really picking up too.

Jeff, 8 miles, outstanding! You have time for a great finish to your training. We both just need some luck, this final month!
