AM

35 minutes on the elliptical this morning and probably another 30 tonight if I can get to it.  I may spend this whole week on the elliptical depending on how the calf injury is coming along.  Will hopefully find time for some additional cross training as well.

PM

Another 35 minutes on the elliptical tonight.  Man that thing is harder than running.  When I get off my legs feel like jello.

Jeff, did the race beat you up?

From JeffC on Mon, Mar 17, 2008 at 15:07:12

I am a little sore today in the quads but I am just trying to let this calf thing heal up a bit over the next few days. It wasn't a result of the race, it has been coming on for the last couple weeks, I just figured it was time to do something about it. I may start running again on Thursday or Friday if it's feeling better but we'll see.

Try to take it easy Jeff, you have come to far to have that darn calf screw things up for you!!! :)

I am trying to take it easy Clay. Hopefully this thing will just go away and I can get on with training. But until then I am the elliptical man.
