Another fine morning for a run except for the chilly temps which were bearable.  Ran the usual 6 and did the last mile at almost goal marathon pace.  My oldest son is in the midst of working on his eagle scout project so we spent most of the run talking about things we need to help him do with that.  The conversation sure helps the time pace quick on a run.

Great job braving the cold. I'm still a wuss when it comes to running in the cold. I used to love it. Funny how things change.

Good luck with the Eagle Project. If you need some ideas, my son provided information on proper disposal of hazardous waste and then collected old paint. (The county hazardous waste people only let the scouts collect paint.)

So what is he thinking of doing Jeff? How old is he?

Nice run btw!

Dale..I'm the wuss, I live in the desert.

Paul..LOL, thanks for the offer.

Teena..(pending approval) He is planning to paint a stencil of the USA on my kids elementry school playground and then make some blocks with each of the states and capitals listed for a nice litte teaching activity. He is almost 15 BTW. He has been a Life scout since he was 12, but we have been slacking, as usual.

Hey that is a great idea for a project. Both my sons got there eagles at 13 but it was because there father knew once they could drive and date it was over with!

NICE run. What a fun eagle project. We have 5 sons; 4 have received their eagle doing their projects when they were 17. Their youngest brother will turn 17 in April; no pressure from me.
