Another slow and easy 7 today.  I have the beginnings of a cold coming on and when I woke up today I felt like had been run over by a dump truck.  Thought about skipping the run and staying in bed but somehow found the will power to get up and go.  The last few days along one part of my route I have been having a close encounter with a black bird.  This thing thinks it's pretty funny to swoop within inches of my head.  I guess I need to start running with a broom just in case.....

Oh man ... stupid colds!!! Be careful.

When you talk about the black bird I can't help but think of Edgar Allen Poe's "The Raven." SCARY STUFF HB!!! Yes, take a broom!!!

(Birds freak me out ... not sure why ... they are just freaky little things.)

You only have to worry if a group of Vultures begin to circle around you. I seriously doubt your running is that bad, LOL. 7 miles is a tough run in my book, nice job!

Dang birds!!! I get freaked out by birds, too. I was fishing once when I was a teenager and I got too close to a huge bird and its nest full of baby birds. That thing chased me for a half mile along the river bank and the river bank was all big rocks. I bet no one has ever run as fast as I did on rocks like that. lol

Nice run and with a cold even! I have never had a bird attack, I guess it could be scary didn't they make a move about birds attacking?

Take a pellet gun with you. One ping with that and that bird will leave you alone forever.

Those bird can be very aggressive, so be careful. I hope that you get feeling better, keep working hard.

I hate swooping mother birds. Another reason I now treadmill run. :)
