Back to reality.  Nothing like going from morning temps in the high 40s to morning temps in the mid 80s.  It was 83 this morning when I went out for my run and it was a far cry from the beautiful weather of the last few days in high mountains of Southern Utah.  I was grateful to be back at 2,300 feet elevation which made it much easier to breath this morning.  I felt really good this morning.  I'm glad to report that I suffered no ill effects from running up at the family reunion.  In fact I felt so good this morning that I added a couple of miles under 7:50/mile which is my new threshhold for determining fast or slow miles.  I thought I would feel a lot worse after the tough runs on Friday and Saturday but was very surprised this morning with how good everything felt.  So now it's back to the reality of two and half months til SGM and we're right in the middle of a very hot summer that is threatening to only get hotter in the coming weeks.

I guess I won't complain about how hot it was this morning since it was only 70. Glad that you are feeling good as you get into the meat of your training program.

Nice job jeff! This is crunch time, seperate the men from the boys, lol. Hey, have you ever ran DesNews?

Andy, just read your DesNews race report. Great report, Thanks.

Man, it was hot this morning. I opened my door, felt the hot air, and almost went back to bed. Keep up the good work. We need to have an office in Cedar City for the summer months.

Andy...Ya I would take 70 any day of the week man. But if your used to temps in the 50-60s I guess 70 is pretty warm.

Mike...I have never run DNews. I thought about it this year but didn't want to through it in to the middle of my SGM training and risk injury on the big down hill start of that race.

Frank...I like the idea of a Cedar City office, will you work on that?

I feel for ya. And I thought it was pretty hot up here.

And here I thought this morning was bad at 60 deg.

Great job getting in those mountain miles while on vacation. I love running in the mountains while camping.
