Changed it up a bit today with a marathon pace mile to finish off the last mile.  It didn't seem terribly difficult but it wasn't all that comfortable on my injuries.  The good news is that the injuries don't seem to be getting any worse, the bad news is the injuries don't seem to be improving as fast as I would like.  Going to continue to go slow and easy and hope that it's enough to at least maintan some fitness.

You are being consistent with the maintenance miles. Hope to see some improvement on the injuries soon!

Slow and easy sounds like a good plan right now. I'd go real easy or eliminate altogether stretching it until it starts feeling better. My back pain always seems to get better much quicker if I avoid stretching during a flare up. I really hope you can get back on track quickly.

I hope you are 100% soon. Keep up the good work you still have plenty of time.

Dave...Funny you should bring up the stretching thing, I was thinking the same thing and have eased up a bit on any hard stretching.
