Decided to do some GMP miles today.  Started out with a couple of miles warm up and intended to do 4 miles at 7:28 or better but ended up doing 5 at that pace and then cooled off with a couple of slower miles.  Things are starting to feel good again.  Hopefully that will continue through this three week build up to LVM.  Weather was warmer again today with a starting temp at 67 degrees.  Supposed to be back down in the high 50s for the lows this weekend so maybe the weather will finally start to shift to more fall like temps.

Time:  1:09:55  7:46/mile

Jeff, you are an animal just like Mark. Way to go.

From Mark on Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 11:00:35

Looks like this pace is getting easier for you. Good run today!

From Kathie on Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 11:44:32

Does meg run that pace with you? You are and animal - that BQ is comming I just know it!

From Rhett on Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 12:30:55

So what is your goal time for LVM? Are going to try and BQ?

From JeffC on Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 12:35:17

Kathie...Meg doesn't run that pace with me, I have to go solo, and it's not nearly as much fun.

From JeffC on Wed, Oct 29, 2008 at 12:37:12

Rhett...I am pretty sure a BQ is out of the question at LVM, but if the weather is good and the planets align I would like to shoot for the 3:30 range which would be comparable to my SGM time.

Very nice job man. You are always improving. I hope you do well down in your hometown. Keep it up.

Looks like you're 100% recovered and things are feeling good for ya. Your training and the weather will just get better and better leading up to LVM.

Man Alive!!! That is a sweet run Jeff!!

Any time you plan on running a specific amount of miles at a fast pace and end up running more than you had planned ... well ... that is just awesome!!

So nice!!
