Decided to go out and see how the foot is doing today after almost a week of no running.  I was still able to feel the pain but it wasn't as intense as it was last week.  I go in to see the podiatrist tomorrow and hopfully come up with some solutions or maybe even get a cortisone shot to get me through the next six weeks to the marathon.  Run felt really good and legs actually felt like they had some zip in them for once, I guess a week off will do that for you.

Jeff, good to see you back. I know alot of people, who have been very successful with Cort in the foot. I know how you feel, sucks running injured. Lets just hope we both make it to the starting line in Oct.

Jeff,

Glad to see that you were able to get out, keep working hard. I hope things go well with the Dr. tomorrow.

Thanks guys, cort in the foot has worked very well for me in the past so I am hoping for the same this time around. Mike, I know you will be at the starting line ready to go, you are an animal.

That's encouraging that you went 6 miles today. I hope your foot recovers quickly. (You've had more than your share of aches and pains.) Less than 6 weeks 'til SGM, lets hope we're all in top form and perfect health for it!

That is great you were able to recovery so nicely so far. Cant wait to hear what the Doc says tomorrow. At least you can run on it now.
