Fairly slow recovery run today.  Slipped in a couple miles that were close to the 8:00/mile range but overall it was a good recovery run.  Felt surprisingly good considering yesterdays interval workout.  Hopefully that trend continues up to the marathon.  Actually a couple degrees cooler than usual today....82.  Hills, or should I say overpass repeats, tomorrow.

Time:  50:12  8:22/mile

Jeff, good week! Sounds like you will peak right at STGM. Hope things are going well.

Good job getting in the miles and staying injury free. I usually feel surprisingly good on a recovery run the day after speed or tempo work.

Right on man. Great recovery run too. Sounds almost like a bit faster then a recovery run though. Nice job.

Mike, Thanks, I hope you're right. If I can keep the injuries to a minimum it should be good. How are you doing these days? I notice you haven't blogged in a while.

Mark, not injury free, just running with fewer aches and pains than usual.:)

Huans, ya it was about 10-15 seconds per mile faster than I have been going for my recovery runs. I guess I felt well enough that I didn't need as much recovery as I thought.

I am happy to see how well your doing though man. I hope that at SGM we will be able to go the distance this time and BQ. So I am just watching your training like a hawk. So we can improve on our Ogden PRs.

Huans, I need someone to hold me accountable, otherwise I would most definately screw something!

From JeffC on Wed, Jul 30, 2008 at 16:28:39

Uhhhh....I meant "screw-up" something.

Nice, I hope that doesn't violate the "family-safe" rules.:)
