Felt miserable last night toward the end of work and for the rest of the evening.  Felt like a major cold coming on in the back of my throat and nose area.  Decided that being out running in the cold was probably not the best idea this morning so I stayed in bed and read a couple more chapters in Breaking Dawn.  Yes, I am almost done with the Twilight series.  Not really much of a "guy" type genre of books but Meg raved about them so I suffered through them and kinda enjoyed them for the most part.  I could do without all the "feminine" emotions, but the whole vampire and werewolf topic is kinda cool.  Anyway, I digress.....gotta get back to work.  Will give the foot and cold another try tomorrow.

Jeff, I'm glad to see you found some time to get in touch with your feminine side. Get well soon.

Oh Jeff ... picturing you sitting in bed reading those books makes me giggle a little!! You must be very secure!! :)

(you know I'm just joking with you, right? or am I?)

Hope you are having a wonderful evening.

LOL well you are taking that relaxing thing to the next level man. Reading a womans romance novel. WOW!!! I hope you get feeling better soon. Before we take your man card away.:)

From JeffC on Fri, Dec 12, 2008 at 11:12:14

Geeez!! Am I the only male in the world who is reading these books? What a freakin girl I am! :(

From Rhett on Fri, Dec 12, 2008 at 11:47:50

My wife has read the whole series, twice. I'm not as willing to bond with my wife through chic books as you are though. I think it is manly to read those so you can have another thing in common with your wife. I'm just not man enough to take the time to read those type of books. I'd much rather be reading spy and espionage (sp?) and cops and robbers and court drama and stuff.

Oh I like that kind of books/movies and such with vampires and werewolves. And enjoy more fantasy vs anything else. A little love story along with alot of action. But just straight love story hmm. Oh and rumor has it there is like 5 or 6 other guys out there that have read it and about 100 who have tried and couldnt make it through it. The rest aren't brave enough to admit it.

From JeffC on Fri, Dec 12, 2008 at 12:49:05

Hey there is actaully some action in these books, just not as much as I would like. But there is way to much romantic drama.....blaugh!

From DonGardinero on Fri, Dec 12, 2008 at 12:51:31

You guys crack me up!!!

From Kathie on Fri, Dec 12, 2008 at 13:16:36

I have read them just to know what my teenage daughter was reading. I thought they were too girly for me and I'm a girl (just in case you didn't know. My husband liked it when I read them though because it made me a little more romantic... is that more than you wanted to know?

From huans32 on Fri, Dec 12, 2008 at 13:24:03

Ah so even Kathie is reading them to get more in touch with that girlie side. Now see that is a good thing.:) Jeff its all cool as long as you dont pick up any new hobbies.

From Rhett on Fri, Dec 12, 2008 at 13:42:18

Kathie, that is great info. I'll have to encourage my wife to read them a third time. Now that you mention it, when she was reading them, my wife was more romantic than usual too. I didn't put it all together though. I just thought I was looking exceptionally good or something. LOL

From JeffC on Fri, Dec 12, 2008 at 13:46:18

Kathie?? Your a girl?? Geez and all this time it thought.......:)

I wasn't going to mention it but since Rhett did, I think this whole reading Twilight and becoming more romantic thing just might be true. Kathie, you are on to something here. Now when you go in for marriage counciling they will just have the couples read the Twilight series. :)

From Smooth on Sat, Dec 13, 2008 at 13:31:32

:D :D :D :) :) :) You GIRLS and GIRLY GIRLS are so amusing and funny!!!

From Smooth on Tue, Dec 16, 2008 at 15:08:04

How are you feeling now Jeff? Time to get off that romantic novels and get out there, don't you think? Hey, I wish we had your weather.
