Finally back in Las Vegas and glad to sleep in my own bed again.  This run is part of a taper for the snow canyon half marathon this Saturday and I took it really easy.  The legs and body are still a little fatigued from the past two hilly runs and traveling but the tops of my feet did feel a little better today.  I think they are mostly agravated by the down hill running.  I know I am due for some new shoes and luckily they just came in the mail yesterday so I can start out with those on Monday, maybe that will help.

Time: 8:39/mile

Is that 1/2 in St George Jeff? Goodluck. You are in good shape for a PR for sure on Saturday, keep us posted.

Thanks Clay but I don't think a PR is in the works. My PR came on a down hill course with no bodily pains to fight with. I don't know if this foot issue is going to get in my way. If not I will sure be going out hard though. Thanks again. It soulds like you are getting back into the running loop again, keep up the good work and I hope the leg continues to improve. It's good you didn't run SGM. I had a friend who attempted it with your symptoms and pulled out at mile 10 and is still limping on it as of today. He has some very severe stress fractures as a result of pushing too hard. He may be out another couple of months.

Yes the half is in St. George in Snow Canyon. Should be a scenic run. Looks like it is half road and half trail.
