Great weather this morning for a run.  I know that 78 degrees is pretty warm in most places, but in Vegas 78 degrees in August is a treat and it looks like there is more to come this whole week.  Yesterday my left knee was bothering me a bit, but what else is new.  My left leg is the one affected by my lower back issues so I imagine the knee is a result of all the bad back akward striding problems.  I was worried I may not be able to run on it this morning but it actaully didn't bother me much and the lower back issues seem to be easing a bit.....maybe it's all in my mind.  The only thing exciting today was the cooler temps and oh ya, I got some new running clothes at the Nike outlet over the weekend and tried them out today, they were great.  If I have to shop for clothes, running clothes are about all I can stand.

New clothes are fun...I have a hard time buying running shirt after getting so many at races but a new running skirt will always put a smile on my face...don't get me started on new running shoes!

Nice running Jeff. You've got to love those mild temperatures huh? I hope your back and knee issues continue to improve.

New running clothes ... awe!!! The race shirts rarely fit me so I LOVE all new running clothes!!! Funny thing is that I hate spending money on clothes UNLESS it's running clothes ... go figure! :)

Nice run today Jeff. So glad you had nicer temps and that the knee and back held out. Don't forget your yoga! :)

Can't remember the last time I shop for any clothing other than running clothes and shoes. I DO NOT like shopping, period.

Glad you had nice temp to run today and this week. Hope the back and knee continue to stay healthy.

That's because you don't like spending money period Smooth!!! You hate paying full price for a movie!!! :)

(Did you ever find out what your son swam in???)

I never forget my Yoga, I just forget to blog it....and core work as well...and inversion....sheeeesh!

From Smooth on Mon, Aug 03, 2009 at 11:50:21 from 71.32.234.135

Yah, Jeff, don't slack off blogging all these "maintenance" stuff. We might start hounding you about yoga, core and inversion and eating and shopping and sleeping and....

Teena,

He wore his 9th grade swim suits with a pair of gym short over it. It's definitely a "chick repellant".

Oh yes I hate spending money 'cause I lived thru the Great Depression, I think!

Jeff, with my left leg and your right leg we would be a running machine. It's always something, lol. Great job on the miles, you are doing great.

From DonGardinero on Mon, Aug 03, 2009 at 14:45:05 from 75.162.167.29

I hate spending money on anything, even running clothes. Everything is way over priced if you ask me. But it's still fun to get new stuff.
