Hill training today. We are limited in the number of hills available near our place in Las Vegas so we decided to run the Azure overpass at I-95. It is about a .2 mile run moderate hill that today happened to be directly into the wind also. According to Hal Higdon, the grade of the hill is not that important just the fact that you are running hills and training to run them better and faster. We did the Azure overpass 3 times and warmed up and cooled off with about 2 miles each. Miles were slow today due to winds and hills but felt good overall and gave a good effort considering the conditions.
