I'm finally getting around to blogging this run.  What a blaugh run!!  Legs just felt dead for the first several miles.  I was really dragging along at a bout an 8:40 pace when I finally decided to give myself a kick in the butt and get moving.  Surprisingly this fater pace seemed to help.  I don't know that I have ever experienced faster running feeling better than plodding along but I really needed a change of pace.  So I ran the last 8 miles better than 8:15 pace with the last 6 at better than 8:00 pace and the last mile at 7:09.  Was gunning to finish the run under 2:21 on that last mile and just squeeked it in.  One more week of these heavy miles and then I will start the taper.

Jeff...You deserve a lot of rest on the taper after all the work you've put in. 58 miles this week!!! Great job.

Hey, negative splits and strong finish. How'd you do that? Do you think it was a mental thing? Did you run solo? I've gotta hand it to you. GREAT long run. You are working so hard and so focus. WAY TO GO, Jeff!!!

Smooth...I ran solo for the last 6-7 miles. I don't know how I did it, it just happened.
