It was a cold one this morning.  We started our run at 30o and luckily no wind.  Had to break out the rarely used coat this morning.  Once we got going it wasn't bad but the first mile or so was a bit nippy.  Everything felt pretty good.  I am feeling some hope that the slower easier running and the extra stretching with the yoga may actaully be helping.  I did the Yoga again today and it always leaves me feeling pretty good.  I've even started to notice that I am slowly gaining a little more flexibility, which isn't saying much in my case because I'm as stiff as a board, but hey, a little bit always helps.

Good to see you out hitting it Jeff. Looks like it didn't record your mileage though for some reason.

I think you caught me in the middle of entering my blog. I posted before I was completely done, my mileage should be there now.

Good job getting out this morning Jeff! It was 3 degrees this morning here so I opted for the treadmill, I know I'm a wimp;-D

Great Job Jeff, I am glad you have started to see results from the yoga no matter how small. Remember you are talking to the girl who celebrated .3 pull-ups!

Nice run in the "balmy 30 degrees". I wimped out and got on the treadmill. It was a toasty 9 degree this morning. I have a cold and the icee messy road just scared me. Good for you getting it done. Glad you're enjoying the yoga. You'll be able to put your head to your shin soon, for sure!!!

From JeffC on Mon, Jan 05, 2009 at 15:48:26

Compared to up north, my 30 degrees sounds pretty good. I know we don't really have much to complain about down here but when you are a desert rat, the cold is a killer.

Smooth, I will never be able to touch my head to my shin....never.

Kathie, I think I might be able to do .3 pull-ups....on a good day.

Clay, 3 degrees!!!! Holy Crap!!! Even with the dry roads down here I think I would be staying in at 3 degrees.

Your tougher than I am. I shut my alarm off this morning and went back to bed. I did get my workout in this evening although I did it inside on the treadmill.
