Major rain storm this morning so I bagged the run and waited until 6:00 to go the YMCA with Meg.  Upon arriving at the YMCA we discovered that it was still not open and there were 20 or so upset patrons pacing around the entrance waitin for them to open.  The rain had stopped by this time so I decided to jog home and Meg was going to stay and see if she could get in eventually.  I have no idea how far I ran because I left the garmin at home since I was going to run on the treadmill, but I think I ran for about 25 minutes so I am calling it 3 miles.  Meg left the Y at about 6:20 and the doors were still not unlocked.  I would hate to be the manager that has to talk to her later today when she calls, not good.  This is the second time in a month this has happened to her.  The foot is feeling a little better today but not 100% yet.  Hopefully the next few days of easy running will help.

What a bummer about the Y not being open. What's up with that? Well, at least you got in a nice short run.

I have gone to the gym a few times and found it closed. Just really gets to you. Expecially if your expecting to get in a good workout and end up leaving upset. I would hate to be the one Meg has the chat with.:)

I must have missed your injury report, what happened to your foot?

Sounds like they need to give Meg the key to the gym.

Bummer about the closed gym. I must have missed something about your foot too? Heal fast! GOOD LUCK at Fontana.

That's 3 of us that missed the foot injury. Please tell me it's nothing bad.

What's up HB?

Sorry everyone, the foot injury was from my long run on Saturday. When I got done, the outside of my left foot was kinda bothering me. I've had this happen before and basically a little rest seemed to cure it. I am going to take it easy this week and hopefully get all better for Fontana. I wouldn't really call it an injury, more of an irritation/inflamation. I think the last couple of weeks of higher than normal mileage kinda got to me and now by body is letting me know it. Thanks for checking in on me.
