Nice easy recovery run today.  Felt much better than expected on this mornings run.  A few muscles were a little sore and tight but for the most part, running was not a problem.  Weather is getting cooler as it dropped down to 47 this morning and there is potential rain in the next few days.  Lets just get the rain out of the way now before the marathon.  I really don't want to go through another SGM monsoon at Las Vegas Marathon.  Started breaking in a new pair of shoes today.  Maybe that is why things felt so good.  These will be my marathon shoes so they should be ready to go in a couple of weeks with 30-40 miles on them.

I'm glad your legs are feeling ok after that brutal almost 1/2 you ran. Your going to be primed and ready for a great race come race day.

Nice recovery run. After your hilly race. Great job by the way at the race. Looked brutal.

Amen to what Rhett and Mark said. Nicely done. You're looking good tapering into LVM. I do the same with my marathon shoes too, break into a new pair during the last 2-3 weeks of taper.

Jeff...

Sounds like you're recovering pretty good after Saturday's race. That's great.

Oh yeah, new shoes ALWAYS feel so good. I'm about due for a new pair.
