Nice moderate run today.  Great morning weather with light breeze and 73.  Hope it holds for tomorrows last long run.  Legs felt pretty good even after yesterdays slightly faster then normal run.  Going to try going a few days without the ibuprofen to gauge the pain level.  I would prefer to run the marathon without any pain meds, that is why I am doing the test.  I feel recovered enough to go without, but until I actually do it's hard to tell for sure.

Nice moderate pace man. I have been using aleve on some of my runs and for sure on my longer ones. Mostly I have noticed if I do use something for the pain. It doesnt throw off my gait when I start to hurt which then throws everything else off. Hope the experiment goes well. Great job again on the run. That is a good pace in the breeze.:)

Nice runs the past couple of days. How far are you going on the long run tomorrow?

Where am I on here?

I asked Lee Elmer from Las Vegas to join our group as well, he said he would love to. He is a very good runner in his early 50's that is looking to run a 3:15 as well. That makes 7 of us if we can all meet up and make it work. I've got cell numbers for everyone in the group except Dace and Mike Warren. Hopefully we can all touch base on Friday evening some time and make final plans for Saturday. Ideally it would be nice to meet up at the expo on Friday but I don't know if that will be possible or not...let me know what you think.

Nice run Jeff I hope you are pain free without your meds!

Sounds like a good plan to kind of meet up at the expo again. I think Josse also was thinking of joining us too.

I could meet up at the expo just name the time.

Kathie..Unfortunately I'm not pain free with my meds, I just hope to not have to take meds during the race. We'll see.

Mark..Ya I saw that on MikeW's blog. I imagine we will have a few others join in at the start as well. The more the merrier.

Best of luck with the long run w/o the meds. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
