Nothing too exciting today just a fairly easy 7 with one slightly faster mile at the finish.  Temps have felt great the last few days with temps in the low 70s I almost need a jacket....lol.  The duct tape is holding up and the body is hanging in there at least for now.  Hopefully it can hang in there for a couple more quality weeks and get me through to the taper.  The plan right now is to taper for only 2 weeks and try to fit in some easy long runs with one quality long run between now and then.  Guess we'll just see how it goes.

Well Jeff. Just listen to your body man. You have had a great summer so far with setting some new PRs. And if all goes well we will get our BQs down in your neck of the woods. So get more duct tape if needs be. We are going to need it to keep up with MarcE.:)

Jeff, nice work. So, you feeling the vibe to take a crack at the BQ at STG. I have decided if I run, I will be going for the BQ. I see no other reason to run it injured, nothing to gain. Will go as far as I can on the BQ pace and either qualify or drop out.

Kathie...LOL :D and bailing wire too. New research suggests that duct tape can infact fix absolutely anything. Seriously....no....no duct tape or bailing wire, but who knows, maybe it would work, apparently that other special tape worn by a certain beach volley ball player in the olympics seems to do wonders for people..... explain that one to me?
