Only goal for today was to run by feel and go as far as I thought was safe.  The injuries were not pain free by any stretch of the imagination but they didn't get any worse as the run progressed.  Huge bonus, I go to run with Meg almost the entire way.  Didn't push the pace at all today and the run turned out to be a lot easier than expected.  I feel like I could have kept going and considered doing the full 20 because I missed one last week.  But to err on the side of caution I stopped before I felt like I needed to and am really feeling pretty darn good right now.  I know I can't push the pace right now but maybe I will be able maintain some of the fitness from my training over the last several weeks and carry that into the marathon.....time will tell.  So I think I am back to running again but easy running only for now.

Awesome job Jeff! I've really been hoping you'll be able to pull through this. Smart and determined, looks like you are back on track!

Good job, Jeff. I am really hoping you have turned the corner. Smart running, too.

Very cool that you got to run with Meg most of the way.

Nice run Jeff I am sure you made the right choice to stop before it got too bad. There is plenty of time to get in a 20 before St. George

NICE run with Meg. I'm with Kathie. You're making smart choice and being very patient. Here's to complete healing and running happy.

That is GREAT news!! Not only that you were able to run 17 but that Meg was able to as well. Very very very cool that you could run that together. I LOVE it when Ry is able to run with me ... his limit is about 8 though. But I take it every chance I get. I am very happy for both of you!

Great job Jeff. Getting in some good miles with the wife is always time well spent. And the pace is looking really good too. Hang in there. We have just a few more weeks of good hard training and then taper.

Nice run Jeff. Glad to hear things are a little better.
