Picked up the pace a little bit again today but the calf is still bothering me some.  It feels like it is ready to cramp up at any moment during the run but never does.  I hope the infamous charlie horse doesn't come up and bite me one of these times.  For now I am day to day on the running, we'll see how it goes tomorrow.  Had one fast mile at about 7:40 pace.

I had that same calf problem for about a week last month. It was brutal. It never did cramp and eventually worked itself out with a whole bunch of stretching.

Pain sucks.

Sorry to hear about your calf maybe it is a good thing that you are not doing the Lake to Lake, although I would have loved to have seen you again.

Jeff...that same thing happened to me today, too, but it only lasted for about a mile and then it loosened up.
