Rain, Wind and Cold = No Running.  Finally got that ugly weather that I knew would come sooner or later.  Slept in and enjoyed the extra rest.  I was really looking forward to trying out my new shoes, maybe I'll have to make my way over the YMCA tonight and go on the treadmill.

Made it to the Y and did 6 on the treadmill.  I really don't know how you treadmillers do it all winter long, how boring!

What?! You don't want a repeat of SGM'08? You've lived in Vegas too long, my friend!!!

Well, I shouldn't talk, I wimped out today and got on the treadmill too.

We were down there Saturday night and got to enjoy a little of your "ugly weather".

From JeffC on Tue, Feb 10, 2009 at 00:02:02

Kathie..first of all, Andy is the MAN! and second....I didn't want to get my new shoes wet....

Smooth..getting on the treadmill is not wimping out but it is boring as sin.

Dave..WHAT!! you didn't look me up! What the......Ah that's okay, I hope you enjoyed your weekend, even with the crappy rain.

From Dave S on Tue, Feb 10, 2009 at 14:45:58

Jeff, I thought about looking you up but we just stopped over on our way home from San Diego and didn't have a lot of time. Thinking about it almost counts. Doesn't it?

Glad you got your run in on the TM. We got that nasty weather here yesterday too. I was planning on running in it anyways cause I wasn't in the mood to do a 12 mile marathon pace run on the TM. About 30 mins before I headed out last night the rain and wind stopped and it was a gorgeous night for a run.

How are you and Meg doing? Has she completely recovered yet? Did you like your new shoes?

From JeffC on Wed, Feb 11, 2009 at 15:56:22

Teena...We're doing good. Meg is still running daily but we are trying to keep it fairly easy so she/we can get all healed up. The new shoes have only been used on the treadmill. Maybe I'll give em a road test tonight. I'm not much of a night runner but I gotta get it in sometime.
