Ran an easy 6 without the aid of any meds today.  Felt okay but I could tell that my usual aches and pains were amplified a little bit.  Will continue to try and reduce the amount of meds until the marathon.  I'm gaining weight too fast these last couple of weeks, I gotta get my diet under control for then next couple weeks or I'll turn into an even bigger blob.

Forgot to mention that it was 67 degrees this morning....BRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Great job on getting out on a easy run. I am in the same boat with wanting to lose some weight. Tapers are even harder with running less miles. Do some core workout and your mid-section will thank you.:) And you wont fell so flabby.

I am still eating leftover birthday cake...it is old and tastes really bad why cant I just throw it out?

Nice run I hope the pain gets better!

When you figure out how to throw out old birthday cake let me know...Luckily I have Meg who just throws out the old junk and when I go looking for it, it's gone.....temptation gone....If it were left up to me, every last piece of birthday cake would be consumed... probably by me.

67 degrees in Vegas is cold? Try 43 degrees in SLC :)

LOL my wife if the same way. But she just makes good tasty stuff and gives it to the neighbors, family and friends. So I got to eat my fill before she gives it all away.:)

WOW 67!! That is getting just about perfect. The wife was running out there in like 51 degrees this morning. About time to break out the cold weather gear.:(

You're gonna need a coat at the top in Central! Haha!

Kathie, throw away the b'day cake! No junk in the trunk! :)

Good luck with the no weight gain. I always seem to loose weight during taper, I think because I stop weight lifting and I loose muscle mass.
