Six at the usual pace today.  I'm still fighting off this cold a little bit today although it is improving slowly.  I am also still recovering a little bit from the half marathon over a week ago with some little aches here and there.  Nothing serious, just enough to make me be cautious for the rest of the week.  Need to be really careful right now because after Ragnar, marathon training is going to be in full swing.

Nice job getting in some good miles. Today starts the 16 weeks out from SG. With Ragnar this weekend its going to throw it off some. I plan on doing some easy miles too.

Sorry to hear that dang cold is still hanging on. My cold took FOREVER to go away. I'm still a bit congested from it.

So when are you heading to Logan? Can't wait to see you at Ragnar...I hope to see you anyway!

Jeff, was your half some pretty brutal downhill? Besides the cold, you don't seem to achy. Your legs must really be getting strong.

Kathie...I will be in Logan on Thursday around 3:00. I think MarkO told me you guys start at 11:45 so I am going to try and make it down for that. We start at 1:30.

Mike...Yes the half was pretty good down hill but not super brutal. It did leave the quads a bit sore, but now its just all the other normal aches that are a little intensified after a good pounding....lower back, feet, hips, etc.

Seems like a good week to take it easy. It's a good time for a small break before your training push for St George and a good taper week going into Wasatch Back.

I have decided that throwing caution to the wind, though highly tempting, is way over-rated.

Way to be cautious!!!

You are awesome!

I think we are going to meet up with Kathie on Fri morning at her place to head up. Since we have the girls Thurs night. Making it hard to get up there that night. I am sure we will see you guys on the road though if you dont make it down for the start. We should be there at 11am for check-in.
