Standard run today.  Nothing exciting.  8 miles, a black lab, yoga, core, inversion.  Left leg/back is still giving me fits.  I do seem to warm-up and the pains does ease but never goes completely away, not sure what to think.  Hope it doesn't get worse or I may have to back off a bit.  Couple of faster miles today, not because I felt good, just because they happened.  Tomorrow is tempo day but as usual it's up in the air until it actaully happens.

Time:  1:04:03  8:00/mile

Hate back problems. Good job being sensible.

I think I will go use my inversion table right now. I always forget!!

Nice job with the run and all of the extras.

I think I am going to take it easy for a few days as well ... some tightness is creeping in. Silly bodies!!

Say hi to Meg for me!

Nice run. Could tight hammys have anything to do with your back? I know when mine get tight I sometimes feel it in my lower back.

Rhett...that is what I thougt two and it may very well be the problem but I do stretch the heck out of them with my yoga every morning, maybe I need more. The leg issue appears to be a strained quad muscle, probably brought on by the back issues altering my stride. Ah the joys of running.

Geez my spelling sucked in that last post!!! Why can't I use the edit button to change it?

From Rhett on Tue, Aug 04, 2009 at 19:32:42 from 74.36.34.147

I've never figured out the edit on this blog either. I'm always wanting to go back and change things but can't.

From Smooth on Tue, Aug 04, 2009 at 21:58:13 from 71.32.234.135

Hmm, do you need a deep tissue massage or a PT to work those tight muscles out? What do you do while on an inversion table?

My edit works. My browser is Firefox. Not sure if that's the case.
