The usual six.  My left calf was acting up a little bit on Saturday's long run and it started acting up again during today's run.  Not sure what that is all about or where it came from.  Rolled it today and hopefully a little extra stretching will help it out.  Temps turned super warm this morning (55 degrees and no wind) and I was way over dressed.  I was too lazy to go back upstairs and change so I just suffered.  Push up challenge is on hold for me until my right hand feels better.  I jammed my thumb really bad playing ball several years ago and now to do push-ups on it is not feeling very good.  I'll do what I can but it probably won't be much.....wussy man out.

Dang sorry about your jammed thumb playing ball. Bball can ruin a running career and push-ups too dang. You could always do those easier fist push-ups instead.:)

Hey Jeff, isn't it funny how we can be too lazy to go back upstairs to change, but we can force ourselves to run for miles and miles?

From Kathie on Mon, Feb 23, 2009 at 13:41:21

Hey is this the same calf that gave you trouble before LVM?

From JeffC on Mon, Feb 23, 2009 at 15:41:03

Mark....Fist push-ups? Are you kidding me?

Dale...I was thinking the same thing.

Kathie...No, it was my right calf, but it feels very similar, maybe it will just go away.

Nice job today Jeff, I hope the calf gets to feeling better soon;-)

LOL oh I know it did say something about just doing fist if it was hurting your wrist. LOL I did try them a couple times. Man are they tougher then just normal ones.

From rhett on Mon, Feb 23, 2009 at 18:24:55

just do one handed pushups so you don't you won't hurt your injured hand. :)

From Smooth on Mon, Feb 23, 2009 at 18:48:15

Jeff, you don't need your thumb to do push ups, do you? Don't let tiny Teena beat you. Hope that calf behaves soon.

My wife bought me "The perfect push-up" for Christmas (as seen on TV!) - if you had one of those then your thumb wouldn't bother you, also better for your shoulders, too I think.
