This run looked almost like yesterdays run only the temps today were really warm. It was 66 degrees when I walked out the door this morning. This might be the first day in the 60s this year that early in the morning. Anyway, it was warm with nice breeze coming out of the south. I am still feeling a few aches and pains from last weeks mileage which is the first time I have gone over 50 miles in a week this year. Hopefully with the Yoga and lower mileage this week I can find some healing and recovery and be ready to go on Saturday.

Smart move getting the miles down this week. Whats your next attempt at the BQ?

Hey Jeff!! You are really getting in some awesome miles!!

My PT recently told me that one of the best things you can do to help your muscles repair is to not only have a protein shake after your workouts, but to have one right before you go to bed as well. Just an idea.

AWESOME job!!

You'll be ready by Sat! Just take it easy this week. Nice training for the upcoming races. One of these days I'll have to do some serious training specifically for a 5K.

Sounds like you had a tough week last week. You will do great on Saturday, you earned it!

Great job getting up early in the morning to go running. We should get together sometime to go for a run. Good luck with the 5K!!

Yes I do need to lay off the chocolate and I would love to go for a run with you sometime soon.

From Kathie on Tue, Apr 14, 2009 at 18:15:56 from 207.155.176.10

I am guessing that her name starts with an M and rhymes with egg... am I right?

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!! Instead of rdrunner, her new call sign is rdrash due to her infamous incident on the bike...

From Smooth on Tue, Apr 14, 2009 at 22:57:04 from 70.56.102.54

How's RDRASH doing? Hope she's recovering well. NICE run Jeff! You're gonna do your team proud this Sat. Be careful running around the garbage can and crowded curb. Or have they changed the course this year?
