Today was a nice recovery run and a test on the knee to see if it will be up to running 20 tommorow.  Well, the knee felt fine at this pace and the legs actually felt pretty good.  The pain is now in my left foot on the outside of the foot and up into my ankle area.  A couple of years ago I rolled that ankle really bad playing basketball and maybe all my rolled ankle over the years are coming back to haunt me.  I was able to run on it but it wasn't very comfortable.  I'm hoping some ice and ibuprofen will do the trick today and we will see how it feels tomorrow.  Weather continues to be quite hot with the temp at 84 yesterday and 85 today at 5:00 am.  It's supposed to be 86 for the low tommorow so it just gets better and better.....oh well, things could be worse.

Good to hear the knee is feeling better. Whats with the new one with the foot and ankle? Maybe just side effects from the retired shoes? Great job getting out and running another good recovery run. Cant wait to hear how your 20 goes tomorrow.

Just when one thing gets feeling better there's something else. Isn't that how it seems to go. Hope it's just one of those fantom pains that goes away as fast as it came.

20 miles in the mid 80's sounds like a blast!

I hope your foot doesn't become a problem.
