Well, this is the start of the big nasty week.  Started off pretty well.  Felt really good for most of the run today and probably ran it a little quicker than I should have considering Mondays are usually my semi-recovery days.  Oh well, I ran at a pace that felt comfortable.  Plan for the week is to run 9s every day and then a 20 or more on Saturday.  Plan to run a tempo run on Tuesday and a marathon pace run on Thursday with a slow days inbetween.  I was really starting to feel the fatigue at the end of last week so I hope I can make it through this week.  I was surprised at how well I felt today considering my tired week last week.  Weather continues to be very good with the temp this morning at 49 and a very light breeze out of the east.

Jeff...

Great "slow" run today. Man, the weather down there is almost the same as way up here.

Hey Jeff if this is your tough week don't forget to get extra sleep and boost your vitamin C intake! I know during my tough week before SGM I sometimes went to bed at 8:00. This gave my teenagers plenty to tease me about!

Everybody I know already makes fun of me, we go to bed at 9:00, and so do the kids, most of the time. I may have to take a nap during my lunch break at work or something to get that extra sleep. Great advice, thanks!

Wow you are going to have one tough week. But just think you will be able to taper after it. And those are some good miles and speed. Keep it up.

NICE run to start off the monster week. Yeah, I agree about the sleep, nap, rest, whatever the body needs. You are doing awesome.
