Well what do you know....I finally decided to run again.  After a week long layoff I finally got my lazy butt up and went for a run today.  It was a nice break but I think it is time to go back to work now.  The break was good to let some of my nagging pains have a chance to heal up a bit and for me to have a chance to get some extra rest and spend more time with the family.  Since I have Painter's in 3 weeks I hope to get a couple of really nice weeks of running in and then a taper week.  Today's run was uneventful and I could tell I was a little rusty and felt a little clunky.

Time:  8:34/mile

Jeff, its easy to be lazy this time of year especially when it's 12 degrees outside, of course you wouldn't know about that now would ya, you lucky dog...

Well I don't get any joy while running in 30 degree temps. I know that 30 and dry beats 12 and snowy.....but when I'm running in 90 degree temps this summer at 5:00 A.M. I'll be calling you the lucky dog. January is our coldest month on average. I am not looking forward to it at all. Things just don't work as well in the cold.
