60 minutes ont he elliptical again. Calf seems to be improving as I am feeling less pain when going up and down stairs. Iced the calf and knee last night for about a half an hour, maybe that helped a bit too. I'm not going too crazy yet because I am satisfied with the level of difficulty for this workout on the elliptical. The perceived effort is equal too or greater than running and the cardio seems to be right there. At the peak my heart rate can get up close to 160 which for me is about an 7:50-8:00/mile effort. It's not running but it's good for the moment. |
