Finally a nice calm morning with moderate temps. At 42 degrees it was a little chilly but I was still able to run in shorts and a sweatshirt with some gloves. Finally able to put in a decent run for the week even though it is now Thursday. I have pretty much written off this week for getting some good mileage, but I still hope to get it in the 30 mile range after Saturday's run. Everything felt pretty good this morning except my chest which still seems a bit tight from my Sunday night throw-up party (at least I think that's what it is from). With about seven weeks to go until painters I am looking to put in some long high quality miles and crush my course record which shouldn't be too hard since it is around 1:54. Hopefully the weather is a bit warmer this year than last years 19 degree start. |
