Just read about your spill last Saturday on your blog, hope you are feeling better. I also read about your shin related injury. I used to get shin splints on the inside of my shins quite a bit and notice they flare up a little when I push the pace or miles. Whenever they flare up I usually just back off for a few days and they seem to feel better. Not sure if that is what you have but that's my two cents.
