Slept in like a lazy bum today.  Didn't do anything.  Knee and lower back are still hurting a bit but seem a little better.  Will probably take the rest of the week off from running and go from there.

Sounds like were in the same boat! I would love to STG healthy just once.

Mike...I felt like I could have run today but not without some pain. I really just need to take it easy for a few days and see if I can heal up. I too would like to run SGM completely healthy one of these years. My best year was last year but it was a monsoon, LOL.....and I donated blood two weeks before the race....geeez! Hope you get feeling better soon.

I know what you mean, I felt like I could run today but was not sure how I would feel on Saturday for my long run. I thought it was smarter (or should that be more smart?) to skip the 9 today so that I can do 19 on Saturday.

You both are being smart to rest. Missing a couple days won't hurt your training at all.

Heal up good and fast!

"Slept in like a lazy bum..." You say that like it is a bad thing?

Hope you heal up and get back to training so that you can nail St. George!

As you know, I'm an elliptical proponent.
