Well, I've started a slow progression back to the world of the living.  Another slow run today but was able to pick up the pace slightly keeping the average under 9:00/mile for the run.  The calf is still a little bothersome but seems to be on the mend a bit.  It feels really good right now and seems to come and go throughout the day.  I have a feeling all of this is related to my on going lower back issues.  I had back surgery at 21 and have had spans of good and bad times ever since.  Hopefully things will settle down back there and I can get back to normal.

Well, it's a step in the right direction. Very good!

Wow! That is amazing that you are a runner who had back surgery! I always hear such horror stories about back surgery! I hope the issues go away soon! Happy running!

2 - 3 - 4. It's a good pattern. Keep going!

Kim, while no back surgery is minor....mine was pretty minor as far as back surgeries go...and it really helped relieve a lot of pain I was haveing at the time. Thanks for checking in everyone.
