Crappy run today.  I've been feeling like a have a cold or something coming on for the past couple of days and now my legs were kinda achy today.  I hope I can hold off whatever I have lurking cause I really don't need a cold at this point in the game.  Didn't intend to run quite as fast as I did today but I had to hustle cause I slept a bit longer than usual.  Hopefully tomorrow brings fresher legs and health.

Just wash your hands a bunch. Hang in there.

Better that you get sick now than next week. This is usually the time that I start taking Airborne.

This is the time to stop kissing your wife and kids. (I know, that doesn't go over very well.)

Paul...Ya I wash them a ton and not much kissing going on right now. Meg and I are both trying to fight off something. She's running SGM too.

Andy...If I could only have it hit now if it's going to hit at all instead of slowly build over the next several days. I may need to get some airborne going. Listen to Andy! :) Thanks for the suggestion.

I hope it's nothing. My daughter sounded like she had a cold this morning. I'm hoping it just allergies.

From Kathie on Fri, Sep 25, 2009 at 13:11:16 from 63.248.105.188

I also like Zicam (sp) it seems to make the cold go away much faster. Also carried over from MarkO's blog get a lot of SLEEP!!!!!

From Smooth on Fri, Sep 25, 2009 at 13:30:48 from 97.117.81.161

I have a scratchy throat too. Airborne and Zicam huh? Listen to Andy and Kathie. They know best! :)

From jeffc on Fri, Sep 25, 2009 at 13:46:34 from 167.207.128.101

Zicam scares me a little. I should have stayed away from the horror stories on the internet.

From Teena on Fri, Sep 25, 2009 at 13:46:56 from 67.177.20.13

Yes ... listen to Andy and Kathie!! Although I prefer the Emergen-C packets just because they taste better!!! :)

Best of Rest to both you and Meg!!

Sorry about the "crappy" run. It's good that you got it out of your system today. I always seem to have a horrible run about a week before a big race. I'm sure you'll bounce back.

How are you feeling today? Hope you and Meg are over the worst of it.
